ABOUT THIS TOUR

The Similan islands is part of the Phang Nga province and is an Archipelago in the Andaman sea. There are 11 islands in total. Originally 9 islands (Similan means 9) two islands were added to its National park status in 1988 some 6 years after gaining its national park status. The islands are numbered and the 3rd is owned by a Thai princess. Some of the islands are not accessible.

Get ready - Check in at Thap Lamu Pier. Enjoy warm bread, tea and coffee as you receive a briefing from our beloved eco-alert tour guide.

The boat is ready to depart from the port. to head to the Similan Islands

Donald Duck Bay Similan Island (Island No.8) - Let’s do some hiking to the famous symbolic Sail-Rock for some amazing scenery and worth a 100+ likes social media shot.

1st snorkeling spot at Ba Ngu Island (Island number 9) It’s snorkeling time! Let’s explore the breathtaking Coral Bay.

2nd snorkeling sport - Next station, Finding Nemo! Depart for the 2nd snorkeling point at Payu Island (Island No.7) where sea turtles and clown fish (Nemo) are often sightedayu Island (Island number 7) and let’s find the nemo and sea turtles

Lunch time - Enjoy a home cooked delicious Thai lunch set with fresh fruits on Thailand’s most beautiful white sandy beach.

Take a rest at Mieng Island (Island No.4) - Head to the gorgeous beach of the Honeymoon Bay & Princess Bay for more scenic photos and relaxing time.

Time to say goodbye. - Heading back from Similan Island to Tab lamu pier.

Back to the hotel - Arrive safely at the pier. Enjoy more drinks and Thai snacks before get on a transfer back to the hotel with a backpack full of wonderful memory, salty hair and new tan skin!

HIGHLIGHTS OF THIS TRIP

Sailing Stone :  Symbol of Similan Located on the top of Laem Hin on Ao Kuek of Island 8, there is a hiking trail to see the view on the top of the mountain. The trail is quite steep but it has the rope that helps you pull yourself up, at some point you will be crawling on the edge of these smooth huge rock.  This climbing may not be suitable for unfit or elderly people. But the beautiful scenery beyond description will be worth the attempt!

DEPARTURE FROM PHUKET / KHAO LAK

For trips to Similan Islands, it can be done from both Khaolak and Phuket. Khaolak pick-ups are free of charge. If you are to get transfer from Phuket, the journey from Phuket town to the pier will take about 1-2 hours each leg. The prices listed above are the net price inclusive of hotel roundtrip transfers. Please note that if you are travelling from Phuket, this is a full day journey (approx 12 hours with transfers included)

BOOKING POLICIES

  • At least 48 hours notice is required to confirm booking.

  • Pre-payment is required to secure the booking.

  • No refund will be given to any cancellation less than 72 hours or on day of the tour. 

  • Child rate is for children aged between 3-10 years old.

  • Weather conditions may alter/postpone/cancel the agenda if safety is a factor for any reason.

  • If the tour is cancelled due to bad weather and the boat can't go out, full refund will be given.
