Itinerary

07:00

Board a private transfer to Klong Kian in Phang Nga province. Pick-up time will vary depending on your hotel location.

08:00-08:30

Arrive at Klong Kian pier and welcome you onboard a long-tail boat. It is time to set off our journey in Phang Nga Bay. There are no fixed route or stops. This is up to the captain to decide based on the weather condition and tides on that day. However, our journey will cover below highlight stops along the trip:

James Bond Island & The leaning rock

James Bond Island, previously known as Koh Tapu, is a famous destination in Phang Nga Bay for travelers and locals alike. It was given the name after one of the James Bond movies from the 1970s was shot there.

What makes the island a sure sight to behold is how it’s formed, with a rocky pinnacle and a distinct shape. It’s as if it appears more prominent on top and smaller on its bottom portion, opening up towards the ocean and welcoming the waters.

With the way James Bond Island holds itself, you might end up wondering how it can keep itself together without toppling all over the deep blue sea. Besides that, you can find Koh Ping Ghan rock situated beside the island. The place is home to small caves that people can visit and explore all day.

Kayak through the 'Hongs' & Lod Cave

Hongs, or rooms in Thai. They represent the worn down caves found in the inner islands of Phang Nga Bay. These caves are mostly only accessible by kayak and have beautiful flora untouched by humans. Some caves have collapsed roofs, and with their soaring walls bathed in sunlight, these caves feel like a magical, ancient world. You'll have guides accompanying you on the tour, so there's no risk of getting lost or injured.

Koh Panyee - Floating Muslim Village

We are taking a stop here for lunch time. Koh Panyee is an island village built on stilts over the water. The village backed by a single, large limestone monolith, making this village a sight indeed. This community is mainly Muslim, with about half the residents being fishermen and the rest being small entrepreneurs catering to tourists. Please make sure your attire is not too much revealing while in a muslim village! You can pre-order food prior to the tour and pay cash directly to the restaurant.

Kaew cave

End the trip at Kaew Cave or the glass cave. This cave is located in the area of Koh Lana, with beautiful stalagmites and stalactites. There are beautiful reflective crystal stones and a small waterfall inside. This cave is the habitat of swallows. If you would like to do swimming, you can ask the captain to make a short stop not far from this cave too.

15:00

Arrive back at Klong Kian Pier and transfer you back to Phuket safely.
