Itinerary

07:30-08:30

Pick up from your hotel and travel to the pier alongside others on the tour.

08:30

Check in and enjoy light breakfast (Coffee, tea, white bread). For the hungry, enjoy your hotel breakfast or ask your hotel to prepare a breakfast box to have on the go. There will not be line buffet at the pier.

09:00

The high speed boat departs from the pier to Angthong National Marine Park.

10:00 Arrive at the Angthong National Marine Park. The morning consists of some snorkeling (equipment supplied) where you will we hope embrace the marine life around Ang Thong.

We are off to Koh Mae Koh, which is the island with an emerald saltwater lake called Thale Nai, connected with sea though underwater caves. A trail that takes 20 minutes to walk leads from a nearby beach to a great viewpoint over the lake. The lake is surrounded by limestone cliffs. The island also has few white beaches.

12:00

Approx midday finds you having lunch (included) on Koh Sam Sao. Ko Sam Sao is located almost in the center of the marine park. The island is attractive with a stone bridge, which was created by nature. The snow-white beach is in the shade of tropical trees. Clear waters and beautiful coral reefs adorn this island.

13:00

The afternoon starts with some Kayaking along the coastline where depending on tides you may get views of the caves lining the cliffs. (As with all things routes are dependent on conditions).

14:00

We do not stop there as afterwards you will be on one of only two of the 42 islands which are inhabited. The trip will become even more challenging with the hike to Koh Wua Ta Lap viewpoint. Typically it takes around 1 to 2 hours, depending on your pace and fitness level. While the trail is not exceptionally challenging, it does involve some uphill sections and uneven terrain, so you must bring a pair of comfortable shoes for walking up the viewpoints. Sport shoes are recommended.

Upon reaching the Koh Wua Ta Lap viewpoint, you'll be rewarded with breathtaking panoramic views of Koh Samui's coastline and the sparkling turquoise waters of the Gulf of Thailand. You can admire the picturesque beaches, lush green hills, and neighboring islands from this vantage point, making it an excellent spot for photography and enjoying the natural beauty of the island.

If you are not into the hiking, simply laze around on the beach enjoying the peace and simply winding down.
